Litton Kumar Das has finally reached India after ending all the speculations. The Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman left for India on Sunday to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR posted a picture of Litton Das joining the team and wrote, ‘Arrived, Litton Da’. Litton shared this post and wrote on his Facebook post, ‘Looking forward to some exciting days ahead’.
Needless to say, not only the KKR camp but also an elated Litton Das himself. Litton got the opportunity to play IPL for the first time. That too for the city of Kolkata. This is the relation of Bengaliana, on top of that it is of Litton of his favorite city. All in all, this right-handed cricketer is thrilled. Fans who want to see Litton in the IPL are also thrilled.
“I don’t know if I will play there or not,” Litton told the media at the airport on Sunday before flying to India to play the IPL. Even if you play, there is no guarantee that you will play well or not. It is a learning process. 20-25 days or whatever days I stay I will try to get an idea about all the fields. Which will be useful for us in the future.’
Looking for support from the fans, Lytton said, ‘I think that the support that the fans give me here will also be there. Hope nothing good happens. This is my first visit to IPL. Of course, it feels good. I am happy I have not set any goals for myself. I will play well if I get a chance.’
