West Indies Squad for Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023

The West Indies squad for the 2023 World Cup ODI qualifier round has been announced. Only two teams from that tournament are going to qualify for the 2023 World Cup.

Alick Athanaze, Kavem Hodge, Dominic Drakes, and Akeem Jordan have been named for the ODI series against the United Arab Emirates on June 5th, 7th, and 9th.

The country’s selection committee has taken steps to call all-rounder Kemo Paul and spinner Gudakesh Motie back to the ODI squad. 10 countries including Sri Lanka are going to play in the tournament to be held in Zimbabwe from June 18 to July 9.

As a rehearsal for the qualifying tournament, at the beginning of next month, the West African team will play 3 one-day matches against the United Arab Emirates team in Sharjah, and the South African Cricket Institute has also announced the squad for the tournament.
