The Inaugural Season of Kashmir Premier League – KPL is scheduled to begin from 06th till 17th August 2022 where all matches will be played at Muzzafarabad Cricket Stadium. PTV Sports and Geo Supers telecast the live coverage of KPL 2022 Live Streaming in Pakistan. Ten Sports Pakistan is also the official broadcaster to broadcast the live coverage of Kashmir Premier League 2022.

Famous Pakistani Legendary All-rounder Batsmen Shahid Afridi, also known as the Boom Boom Afridi, is the Kashmir Premier League (KPL 2022). Mohammad Arif Malik is the Kashmir Premier League’s President while Ch. Shahzad Akhtar is the CEO of the tournament. The KPL 2022 Official Anthem “Khelo Azadi Se” has sung by veteran Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

A total of 8 teams will take part in the tournament. The player draft will be held at the scheduled time. Each match in this league will feature 5 local players from Kashmir, and the remaining 6 will be from different parts of Pakistan.

Kashmir Premier League KPL 2022 Schedule

As the days go by, the market for franchise cricket is growing. Kashmir is going to start a new franchise tournament this time. A total of six teams will play in the Kashmir Premier League (KPL). The schedule for the first edition of KPL 2022 has also been finalized.

The second edition of KPL will start on April 1. The final of the 10-day tournament will be played on April 10. The teams participating in the tournament are Rawalakot Hawks, Bagh Stallions, Muzaffarabad Tigers, Mirpur Royals, Kotli Panthers, and Overseas Warriors.

Kashmir Premier League KPL Venue

All preparations have already been completed for the first edition of Kashmir Premier League KPL 2022. The Kashmir Premier League is preparing to play for the first time which will be in the T20 format. Each team will face each other once. Seven matches will be played in Mirpur, and 11 matches, including the final and semifinal, will be played in Muzaffarabad.

However, no foreign star will be seen in the first edition. However, the stars will be seen from the second session. Only Pakistanis can be seen as foreigners. 5 Kashmir cricketers will play in each team.
