Zahid Mahmood Included in T20i Squad Against PAK vs SA
Shadab Khan, who was injured while batting in the first ODI of the series against South Africa, has yet to recover. As a result, he is not able to play in the Zimbabwe series. Spinner Zahid Mahmood has been included in Pakistan’s T20i squad.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a press release. According to the PCB, Shadab has left the team mainly due to a toe injury. However, Zahid Mohammad has returned to the team instead. The first T20 between PAK vs SA 2021 Live Streaming to start on 10th April 2021.
Zahid Mahmood was named in the list of six additional players for the South Africa series. The leg-spinner was also included in the Test squad announced for the Zimbabwe series.
Zahid, 33, made his international cricket debut against South Africa in his hometown of Lahore. He took 3 wickets in his only T20I debut. Besides, he has taken 56 wickets in 39 matches in first-class cricket. His best bowling spell is 5 for 18. The PCB also said that Fakhar Zaman will play T20 against Zimbabwe and South Africa.
