Yuvraj Singh Post hilarious reply on Shoaib Akhtar Tweet

Former India’s best All-rounder Yuvraj Singh seems to be bossing Twitter after retiring from international cricket as he posts a hilarious reply to Rawalpindi-express Shoaib Akhtar tweet on an incident in the ongoing Ashes series 2019.

Aussies batsman Steve Smith felled by a vicious bouncer from debutant fast-bowler Jofra Archer after a sickening blow to the side of the neck during Australia’s first innings of the second Ashes Test 2019 against England on Saturday.

Jofra Archer drew criticism from Akhtar for walking away from Smith instead of checking to see if the batsman was all right.

The Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar Said in Tweet:

The Bouncers are an integral part of the game, but every time a bowler hits Batsmen on the head and Batsmen falls, courtesy requires the bowler to go and check it out the batsmen.

It wasn’t pleasant of Jofra Archer to walk away while Steve Smith was suffering. I was always the first to run towards the batsmen.

However, Yuvraj Singh took this opportunity to make light of Akhtar’s take on the incident and replied with a hilarious tweet.

Yuvraj Singh Replied on Shoaib Akhtar Tweet:

Yes, you did! But your actual words were hoping you are all right mate because there are a few more coming.

Smith eventually able to walk off the field for concussion checks to a standing ovation after another gritty performance.

He eventually ruled out of the remainder of the Lord’s Test on the final day and all-rounder Marnus Labuschagne was brought as his replacement, which made him the first player to come in as a like-for-like substitution for concussion.
