Rishabh Pant Break M.S Dhoni Record to Become Fastest Indian Wicket Keeper to Take 50 Test Wickets.

Wicketkeeper’s Batsmen Rishabh Pant has overtaken former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and break MS Dhoni Record to become the fastest Indian Wicketkeeper to claim 50 wickets in test cricket.  Pant took an easy catch to caught Kraigg Brathwaite of the West Indies from an Ishant Sharma Ball in the hosts’ second inning in the second test.

The 21-year-old wicketkeeper batsmen claimed his 50th victim in his 11th test on Sunday, while Dhoni had conducted 15 Test Matches to reach the milestone.

By December last year, Pant had equalled the world record for most catches by Wicketkeeper in Test Matches when he caught 11 Australian batsmen at Adelaide Oval.

Meanwhile, India approached a Series sweep, and the hosts declared the second innings in 168 for four that established the West Indies as an unlikely target of 468-runs.

Rishabh Pant became the fastest Indian to claim 50 dismissals in test cricket, beating former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
