The Caribbean, West Indies is Confident and Keep Faith in Batting Lineup for Second Test Against India
The West Indies selectors maintained their faith in the batting lineup that failed miserably to perform as they fall out at 100runs in an uneven first test against India in the Caribbean on Sunday. West Indies team is confident about the batting Lineup order for the second test match against India.
Only one player has been omitted for the second test, fast-bowling player Miguel Cummins who failed to take a wicket in Antigua. He gives way to the all-rounder Keemo Paul, who is available after recovering from an ankle injury. The second test begins in Kingston, Jamaica, on Friday, 30th August 2019.
-India won First Test by 318-runs-
West Indies were all out on 222-runs in the first innings before making just 100-runs in their second innings. The top batting order of the West Indies failed severely and was especially disappointing. Opening batsmen Kraigg Brathwaite (14 and 1) and John Campbell (23 and 7) were cheap, while numbers three and four Shamarh Brooks (11 and 2) and Darren Bravo (18 and 2) also did not contribute much either.
