Waqar Younis claims hacker liked Offensive video from his account, quits social media
Pakistan’s bowling coach Waqar Younis found himself in hot water after an obscene video liked him from his Twitter account Thursday night as he quits social media.
Waqar now came out and claimed that his account was hacked and that the hacker was responsible for liking the video mentioned on Twitter.
The former player posted a video on Twitter on Friday morning, announcing that he will leave social media as a result of this development.
“When I woke up this morning, I discovered that someone had hacked my Twitter account and liked an obscene and immoral video using my account. This is very embarrassing, disappointing and hurtful to me and my family,” Waqar said.
“I thought social media is a means to interact with your fans. However, this is not the first time something like this has happened. It’s happened before, too. So it looks like this guy’s not going to make amends for his ways, so I’ve decided to quit social media because my family is more important to me. I’m sorry if anyone is hurt by this, ” he added.

Waqar ultimately didn’t like the video, but not before Twitter users had already taken screenshots of the tweet.
Two years ago he liked a similar type of tweet from Waqar’s Twitter account, but the 48-year-old refrained from clarifying it.
