Wahab Riaz remembers his five wickets haul on test debut
Pakistan’s fast bowler, Wahab Riaz, has stated that it was a dream come true to take a five wickets haul on a Test debut. While speaking in a video posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Pacer revealed that he wanted to fire Eoin Morgan because of his reputation at the time.
“It was a dream come true to take five wickets on debut and that too against England.” The English side was one of the best test sides during that time. I always envisioned how to fire a particular hitter and that envisioning took me fifteen years, ”Wahab said.
“I was the happiest after firing Morgan because he was new and we had heard a lot about him as a player because of his shooting. I wanted to fire Morgan specifically, “he added.
It should be noted that Wahab eliminated Andrew Strauss, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Eoin Morgan, and Stuart Broad. Pakistan comfortably won that Test by four wickets.
