Virat Kohli Emotional After DDCA Unveil Virat Kohli Stand
The Delhi Cricket Association (DDCA) presented and Unveil the Feroz Shah Kotla Stand on behalf of Indian captain Virat Kohli on 12 September Thursday. The Delhi cricketer thrilled after DDCA’s honor for his contribution to the sport.
DDCA also changed the name of Feroz Shah Kotla and Arun Jaitley Stadium in memory of the late political-sports administrator during the DDCA Annual Awards role. Interior Minister Amit Shah digitally opened the name change in front of Jaitley’s relatives.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has been a great player for Indian cricket. Since his debut, he has taken batting to a whole new level and led his country from the front. Kohli is currently ODI’s best hitter and takes second place in the Trials alone after Steve Smith.
The Indian captain Kohli thrilled to talk about the annual awards feature. Virat Kohli recalled his past when he first visited the stadium and searched for Javagal Srinath’s autograph in 2000.

“I never thought I’d honored on such a large scale. I don’t know how to approach this since my family, my wife, my brother and my sister-in-law are here,” Kohli said. “It was in 2001 (2000) during a match against Zimbabwe, the coach of my childhood Rajkumar Sharma gave me two tickets. I remember holding on to the gallery grill asking for Javagal Srinath’s autograph. I was telling my brother how far we’ve come,” he added.
Besides, Virat Kohli says that it is a significant pride for him and his family to receive this honor. It should note that Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma were also present during the award performance.
“So today having a pavilion in my name in the same stadium is surreal and a great honor,” Kohli concluded.
Speaking about the game, Virat Kohli would be interested in maintaining the excellent form against South Africa in the three-match T20I series from September 15 (Sunday). A series of three-game Test Matches will follow the T20I.
