1. Virat Kohli (5412-runs)

Indian captain and legendary hitter Virat Kohli is on top of almost every list he appears on. It continues to break records and set new international statistics for others to pursue. Kohli has scored 5412 runs in 177 games with a brilliant average of 37.84 in the Indian Premier League. Kohli’s highest score is 113. It has also reached 36 fifty-five centuries. Kohli recently overtook Suresh Raina to become IPL’s top runner.

2. Suresh Raina (5368-runs)

The Chennai star had the record for scoring the most runs in IPL for years before being hit by Indian patron Virat Kohli. Suresh Raina participated in 193 IPL matches and has scored 5368 runs and was not out for 28 times. Raina earned an inaugural century of IPL and went on to score 38 fifty in his 12-year IPL career.

3. Rohit Sharma (4898-runs)

There is no denying the fact that the Indian batsman has been among the best of all for a long period. Therefore, the top three players to score the most runs in IPL are all from India. The Mumbai Indian captain and India’s vice-captain, Rohit Sharma, scored 4898 runs in 188 IPL innings. Rohit Sharma has 1 ton of IPL, while 36 half-centuries in India’s main T20 league. Rohit has a strike rate of 130 in the league and scores with an average of 31.60.

4. David Warner (4706-runs)

David Warner, an aggressive Australian starter, is the only batter abroad to score the most runs in IPL. Warner has played for Sunrisers Hyderabad for the maximum time in IPL. He placed fourth with 4706 runs in 126 games. It also has the highest average of 43.16 among the top 5 in IPL.

5. Shikhar Dhawan (4579-runs)

The first SRH match to join Delhi Capitals in 2019 once played an important role in helping them reach the finals twice in league history. Shikhar Dhawan has amassed 4579 runs in 159 IPL matches. Dhawan has scored 37 years in the second most-watched league in the world. Dhawan’s highest score is 97 not out.
