The USA to host the first One Day International, ODI

The first One Day International ODI to play on USA soil will take place on September 13, when the host USA face Papua New Guinea in the opening match of the second tri-series of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2, which also includes Namibia

In the three series of six games route to the 2023 Men’s Cricket World Cup, the United States and Namibia make their debut in the Men’s CWC League 2 competition, with PNG taking part in their second series. Teams will play four ODIs each in 11 days in Fort Lauderdale between September 13 and 23 and will aim to make their mark on the league table.

The match schedule, three squads and match officials for ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-series, between 13 and 23 September 2019, are as follows:

17 September – United States v Namibia (Broward County Stadium, Fort Lauderdale)

19 September: US V PNG (Broward County Stadium, Fort Lauderdale)

20 September – United States v Namibia (Broward County Stadium, Fort Lauderdale)

22 September – PNG v Namibia (Broward County Stadium, Fort Lauderdale)

23 September – PNG v Namibia (Broward County Stadium, Fort Lauderdale)

All games start at 09:45 local time.
