The second edition of Virat Kohli backed Indian Sports Honors to held Friday

The second edition of the Indian Sports Honors, backed by Virat Kohli, held on Friday when the best in 17 sports disciplines will congratulate. The annual ceremony, which supposed to take place in February, postponed as a sign of respect for the Central Reserve Police (CRPF) jawans, who martyred in Pulwama in a terrorist attack.

The winners of the 11 categories (Honors of the jury) determined by the members of the panel of the ISH fair, which included sports champions as Pullela Gopichand, Abhinav Bindra, Sardar Singh, Mahesh Bhupathi, P T Usha, and Anjali Bhagwat.

In addition to the jury honors, there are six “popular election honors,” and the winners decided through an online voting process on Twitter.

Nominations in all categories preselected by 200 journalists of the Federation of Sports Journalists of India (SJFI).

Indian skipper Virat Kohli said

I always believe that sport is an integral part of every individual’s life since school and, finally, it translates into supporting their favorite athletes on television and during sports events. I’m sure these awards are a springboard that will further encourage the talent to excel in their own sports category,

Goenka, for her part, said

We are delighted to host the second edition of the Indian Sports Honors. Indian athletes show the hard work and perseverance consistently to put India on the world map of their sport.

“It is essential for us to recognize and celebrate these athletes to motivate them to continue their excellent performances,” he added.
