Steve Smith Sets Another Record in Test Matches
Presenting in an Ashes game is a nerve-wracking experience, but for Steve Smith, the task was even more difficult as he returned to his first test match after his ban. While the bartender army chanted “cheating, cheating, cheating,” Smith focused on what he did best succeed when others failed. You can watch Ashes 2019 Series Live Streaming here.
Aside from the noise of the crowd, Smith scored one of the greatest shots in the history of the Test Cricket. His 144 shots in action gave Australia a well-deserved lifeline after a 122-for-8 pass at one point. In the second inning, Smith came off in a much better position and was supported by Travis Head and Matthew Wade, which helped him reach his 100th game. He was eventually caught at 142 from Chris Woakes. His phenomenal efforts helped him create a story, which was achieved by only a handful of players.
