Steve Smith Scores his Third Double Century in Test Career against England in Fourth Ashes Test Match

Legendary Australian Batsmen Steve Smith scores the third double century of his career in a fourth Ashes test match against England. Smith hit a brilliant 211 runs, taking his team to an impressive 497 runs in the first innings against England in Ashes series 2019. Steve Smith’s first two hundred and a double century also pitted against England, one in 2015 at Lord’s and one in 2017 in Perth.

This year in test format, Smith scored 579 runs in just four innings, most by a batsman. In the second place, the Englishman Ben Stokes, with 513 runs in 13 innings. Earlier this week, Steve Smith also overtook Indian skipper Virat Kohli to take first place in the ICC Test Batting rankings. Cricket fraternity took Twitter to praise the spectacular Steve Smith.
