Steve Smith scores 600 runs for the third time in Ashes
Australian Batsmen Steve Smith completed 600 runs in the ongoing Ashes series 2019 against England at Old Trafford Stadium.
Smith achieved the feat with the eleventh run in the second inning on day four of the fourth event. In the first innings, he played a massive 211-runs after missing the third test due to a failed concussion test.
In the second test, Smith was hit by a fierce bouncer thrown by Jofra Archer and then excluded from the match and the third test due to a delayed concussion.
The 30-year-old scored centuries in both innings of the first ongoing Ash Test, and this helped the team record a victory.
Smith had a spectacular series so far. He has scored 600 and more races in a series for the third time. Only Don Bradman is above him, as he scored more than 600 runs in a series six times in his Test career.
