Steve Smith break Pakistan’s Inzamam ul Haq record

Prolific Australian batsman, Steve Smith break the record for more than fifty consecutive scores against a singular opponent, previously held by legendary former Pakistan cricketer Inzamam ul Haq.

Inzamam scored nine in a row over fifty against England. Smith now crossed the previous record with ten scores out of fifty against England during the 2019 Ashes series underway.

Smith crossed the record when he scored fifty during Australia’s first innings of the fifth Ash Test at the Oval.

The law has been in good shape in the ongoing Ashes series, scoring the most runs for both sides. His penchant for scoring resulted in Australia retaining the urn after his victory in the fourth Ash Test in Manchester.
