Sri Lankan Premier League in a fixing debate before the start of LPL 2020
The controversy is not leaving behind the Sri Lankan Premier League LPL. LPL 2020 in another new match-fixing debate before the start. The island’s T20 tournament is at the negotiating table in the fixing case. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has ruled out fixing in the LPL.

A former cricketer has offered a match to a cricketer going to play in the LPL. That cricketer is now stationed abroad. The former cricketer was once accused of fixing. However, he was later acquitted.
However, the ICC and the Sri Lanka Cricket Board have not yet commented on the matter. The Anti-Corruption Unit (ACSU) of the two agencies is working to identify the former cricketer. Last year, the ICC named Sri Lanka the most corrupt cricket country. For this, the highest governing body of world cricket is keeping an eye on the country all the time.
