After detailing their plans for the inaugural Lanka Premier League, the Sri Lankan Cricket Board announced on Tuesday that the tournament will be delayed until mid-November due to the mandatory 14-day quarantine for anyone arriving in the country. That is why Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to take advantage of the free time to organize the SRI v Ban three-match Test 2020 that has been pending since July.
According to the plan, Bangladesh will depart for Colombo on September 23 or 24, and the visitors will bear the expenses of the two traveling squads for the first three weeks of the tour. The first two weeks will be used as a quarantine period, where both the test side of Bangladesh and its high-throughput unit will be isolated.
