Sri Lanka Cricket Team Arrives in Dhaka

The Sri Lanka cricket team arrives in Dhaka to play a three-man ODI series. On Sunday (May 16), a Lankan Airlines flight landed at Hazrat Shahjalal Airport at 8:15 a.m., half an hour ahead of schedule.

This information has been confirmed by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). It is reported that the Sri Lankan cricketers have gone straight to Hotel Sonargaon from the airport. They will observe a three-day quarantine there.

According to the pre-arranged schedule, the Sri Lankan cricket team will hold a room-bound quarantine session at Hotel Sonargaon from Sunday (May 16) to Tuesday (May 18). Twice they will be tested for corona. If they pass the exam, Kushal Perera will get a chance to practice from Wednesday (May 19).

Sri Lanka will play a warm-up match in BKSP on May 21. The next day, after the practice on May 22, the ODI series started on May 23. All the matches of the series will be held at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

The remaining two matches of the series will be held on May 25 and 26. The Sri Lankan cricket team is scheduled to leave Dhaka on May 29 at the end of the series.
