Sri Lanka cricket team arrived in Pakistan for ODI and T20I series

The Sri Lanka cricket team arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday for their next ODI and T20I series. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took Twitter and posted a video of Sri Lankan players arriving in Karachi.

“Arrival of the Sri Lankan team to Karachi for the ODI series against Pakistan. A warm welcome to the visitors of the city of lights #PAKvSL action to be Friday,” tweeted PCB.

On September 9, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced that its 10 players excluded from the Pakistan tour, which includes pacemaker Lasith Malinga. Other players were: Niroshan Dickwella, Kusal Janith Perera, Dhananjaya De Silva, Thisara Perera, Akila Dhananjaya, Angelo Mathews, Suranga Lakmal, Dinesh Chandimal, and Dimuth Karunaratne.

Two days after SLC announced their ODI and T20I squadrons for the Pakistan tour.

The squads are the following:

Squad ODI: Angelo Perera, Wanindu Hasaranga, Lakshan Sandakan, Nuwan Pradeep, Isuru Udana, Kasun Raj, Kasun Raj Kumara, Lahiru Thirimanne (capt), Danushka Gunathilaka, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Avishka Fernando, Oshada Fernando, Shehan Jayasuriya, Dasun Shanaka, and Minod Bhanuka.

Squad T20I: Minod Bhanuka, Lahiru Madushanka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Lakshan Sandakan, Iswan Udaha, Kasu Rajhada , Lahiru Kumara, Dasun Shanaka (capt), Danushka Gunathilaka, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Avishka Fernando, Oshada Fernando, Shehan Jayasuriya, Angelo Perera, and Bhanuka Rajapaksa.

The first ODI between Sri Lanka and Pakistan will play on September 27.
