Shoaib Malik Breaks Two Window Glasses with Two Sixes
Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik reminded the world of his striking power when he broke two windows with his sixes during the gt20 Canada qualifier between Vancouver Knights and Brampton Wolves on Thursday.
Malik, who represents the Vancouver Knights, hit leg spinner Ish Sodhi for the first time for a maximum of 68 yards in 13th over to break the first window. He then followed with six other left-arm hitters, Wahab Riaz, who destroyed the other window of the CAA Centre in Brampton.
The 37-year-old, who has yet to be sacked in the tournament, scored a total of 46 points not out on 26 balls to help his team reach a 170-4 total in 16 overs. Malik hits four boundaries and three sixes.
