Shane Watson Got 6 Stitches After IPL 2019 Final
The bloodstains on the leg of Shane Watson’s trousers during the IPL 2019 finale while he scored 80 runs for the Chennai Super Kings that required six stitches at the end. The 37-year-old Australian all-rounder was ultimately on the losing side, but his teammate Harbhajan Singh praised Watson’s courage to continue playing despite a knee injury during the dive.

Furthermore, he said that Watson didn’t tell anyone about that and still continue to play for his team. Watson made 80 runs off 59 deliveries only to see his team lose by one run. Watson’s return to IPL next season remains uncertain. He has already said goodbye to the Australian big bash T20 and the captain of Chennai, M.S. Dhoni said he would make changes to the composition of batters for the next year.
