Shane Warne Choose Best Batsmen of World, Virat Kohli vs Steve Smith

Warne feels that the Indian pattern has the attitude to come out and succeed against the best bowlers in the game. Shane Warne recently had to choose the Best Batsmen of World by comparing two current legendary batsmen Virat Kohli vs Steve Smith.

Steve Smith announced his return to the international scene in style by racking up 479 runs in three ashes test matches in the ongoing ashes 2019. Smith, who returned to the Test arena after serving a year-long ban by the Sandpaper Gate fiasco, overcame Virat Kohli to the No.1 Test hitter position.

It is inevitable to compare Kohli and Smith based on their dominance in the age of modern gaming.

Legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne has said that if he had to choose one for the Test Matches, Smith would have a slight advantage over his favourite Kohli if he had to choose a player in all formats.

-Shane Selects Best Batsmen-

“When it comes to Test Match cricket, I’d probably say it’s tough between Virat and Smith. But I think if I have to select a batsman in test cricket, it would be Smith, but if I lost smith and had Kohli, I’d still be happy because it’s a legend,” Warne said.

“I think Virat is the best hitter in the world. I think if I had to choose a Batsmen in all formats, it would have to be Virat. Viv Richards was the best hitter I saw at ODI cricket and probably at all crickets. But Virat is now the best ODI player we’ve ever seen, Beat Viv for me.

Warne also feels that the Indian pattern has the attitude to come out and triumph against the best bowlers in the game.

“I think he’ll break all the records and I’m a big fan of how he does his job, and I’ve said it publicly, too. I think Kohli in all forms of the game is the best hitter in the world,” Legendary bowler said.
