Shadab Khan Ruled Out OF South Africa and Zimbabwe Tours Due To Toe Injury

Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan has played in the first two ODIs of the ongoing ODI series against South Africa. However, he missed the rest of the tour of South Africa and the tour of Zimbabwe. Shadab Khan Ruled Out of the ongoing Sout Africa and Upcoming Zimbabwe Tours due to a Toe Injury.

The leg-spinning all-rounder has been ruled out due to a toe injury. The PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) confirmed this information in a press release on Monday. Shadab, 22, will be out for at least four weeks. Shadab suffered an injury while batting in the second ODI between Pakistan vs South Africa 2021 in Johannesburg.

The PCB said in a statement that Shadab had been caught with an ‘intra-articular communicative draft’ in an X-ray report made after the match. However, no displacement or angulation was caught.

Shadab will be in rehabilitation for 4 weeks. With 1 ODI and 3 T20s left in the tour of South Africa, Babar Azam’s team will play 3 T20s and 2 Tests in Zimbabwe.
