Ruturaj Gaikwad Tested Corona Positive

According to the IPL quarantine protocol, COVID positive persons will be tested for corona on the 10th, 13th, and 14th day of the 14-day period. Negative results in those tests can actually only be associated with joining the team as well as with practice and match play.
Earlier on Friday (August 26), many in the Chennai camp were reported to have been attacked by corona. Where it was thought that more than 10 members of Chennai, including cricketer-support staff-officials, were affected by the corona. At present, the number stands at 19. National team pacers Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad are on this list.
Meanwhile, former India cricketer and Chennai Super Kings’ number three batsman Suresh Raina has withdrawn from the 13th edition of the IPL for personal reasons. The star cricketer has already returned to the country.
Chennai Super Kings announced the return of Suresh Raina on Saturday (August 29) morning. Where the tweet said, he will not play in the IPL. This is the first time Raina will not be seen in the IPL. His absence is a big blow to the Chennai camp.
