Rohit Sharma Fined For Slow Over Rate in IPL 2021
Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma was fined for maintaining the slow over rate during IPL 2021 match against Delhi Capitals. Confirming the matter, the IPL said in a statement that Rohit Sharma was fined for failing to finish the match within the stipulated time. He has only been fined for doing so for the first time in the tournament
According to IPL rules, if a captain fails to finish the game within the stipulated time, he is fined, if he commits the same offense again, all the members of the team are fined, but if he makes the same mistake again, the captain of that team is banned for one match.
