Rashid Latif wants to introduce Haider Ali in test cricket

Former wicket-keeper hitter Rashid Latif thinks it’s the best time to introduce right-handed hitter Haider Ali in test cricket. Rashid Latif wants Haider Ali to be included in the second test of the PAK Vs ENG series.

On his YouTube show ‘Caught Behind’, Latif stressed the need to introduce Haider in a middle-order after seniors like Asad Shafiq and Azhar Ali failed to comply.

“I think Pakistan will waste a year of its career if they don’t give Haider a chance. This is the best time to present it in test cricket. Don’t wait for Azhar and Assad to retire, ”he said.

“For me, he has a lot to offer in test cricket and I think he can become an excellent test player,” he added.

It should be noted here that Haider made a place in the national team after showing great form in season 5 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He scored 239 in nine games with an average of 29.87.
