Rashid Latif to replace Inzamam ul Haq as New Head of Selection Committee
Former Pakistani cricketer Rashid Latif has become the favorite to replace Inzamam ul Haq as the new head of selection for Pakistan’s cricket team. Rashid Latif is a top contender to be New Head of Selection Committee to replace Inzamam ul Haq.
According to the sources, former Pakistani brand Shoaib Akhtar is also in the race for the selection post with Latif. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not yet contacted both former cricketers in this regard.
Latif is currently contracted with Pakistan Television (PTV) and recently extended his contract for three more years. However, you are likely to accept the position of head of selection, if offered by the board.
On the other hand, most members of the PCB cricket committee are in favor of appointing a local technical body. While Ehsan Mani and Cricket Committee member Wasim Akram is in favor of extending Mickey Arthur’s contract.

Members of the PCB cricket committee will meet again today to finalize their recommendations regarding the future direction of the Pakistan team. These recommendations will be sent to PCB President Ehsan Mani for approval.
The cricket committee had previously held a long meeting last Friday to review the performances of older men, women, under-19s, and under-16s over the past three years.
