Ramiz Raja suggested Sarfaraz Ahmed retire from test cricket gracefully

Ramiz Raja suggested to Sarfaraz Ahmed that he retire from Test cricket gracefully after experiencing four years of captaincy in three formats.

Speaking on a YouTube channel, Ramiz said that Sarfaraz should have retired from test cricket after being removed from the captaincy. “Sarfaraz should have retired from test cricket after the captaincy. He should have focused more on cue ball cricket where he has the potential to do well, “he said.

“For me, it is better that he retires gracefully after the captaincy. Because from captaining a full-back to sitting on the bench is not an easy task for a player, especially for a player like Sarfaraz who has represented Pakistan in all three formats ”, he added.

It should be noted here that Sarfaraz was removed from the captaincy and also from the team in 2019 after poor form. He recently returned for an ongoing tour of England as a second-choice wicketkeeper.
