Ramiz Raja criticizes embarrassingly poor U19 performance
Former Pakistani skipper Ramiz Raja scathing in his assessment of the recent losses of the Pakistan under-19 team he suffered at the hands of Afghanistan and India in the current Asia U-19 Cup in Sri Lanka. The cricketer-turned-commentator Ramiz Raja turned to Twitter to criticize the U19 team’s performance and called for a complete renovation of the Under-19 cricket structure.
Got beaten badly by Afg & now India in Asia Under 19. Is someone paying attention! A massive talent scout activity has to begin from the scratch. Revamp the entire damn thing. Under 19 was once our great supply line but it is been embarrassingly poor the last few years.

“Afghanistan and now India mishit him in the Asia U-19 Cup. Is anyone paying attention! A massive headhunter activity has to start from scratch. Renew the whole damn thing. Under-19 was once our great supply line, but it has been embarrassingly poor in recent years,” Ramiz tweeted.
The tweet comes in the context of Pakistan’s miserable Under-19 teams in the current Asia U-19 Cup, where the team has lost two consecutive matches against Afghanistan and India, respectively.
Pakistan’s side was one of the favourites for the tournament, but recent losses have diminished his chances of being victorious in the tournament.
