PCB, Pakistan Cricket Board Designed to Relax Main Requirements of Head Coach for Misbah ul Haq

On 26th August 2019, Monday, Former Legendary Skipper Misbah ul Haq Step down from Pakistan Cricket Board Committee, PCB and Apply for Head Coach of Pakistan. The Pakistan Cricket Board designed to relax one of the main requirements announced for Pakistan team’s head coach Misbah, to pave the way for former patron Misbah ul Haq to offer him the job.

Misbah has become the top candidate for the head coaching position after he resigned from the PCB Cricket Committee and formally applied for the post on Monday.
The board had recently announced and invited high-level applications for the position of coach-in-chief vacant until August 26.

According to one of the requirements set out in the announcement, the head coach applicant needed three years of coaching experience to be eligible for the job.

Although Misbah meets all other requirements for the position, including completing a Level 2 training course, does not have any professional-level training experience.

Many people in cricket circles believe the PCB only advertised the position of head coach as a mere formality. The board always wanted Misbah to be the head coach and to facilitate it. They only asked for a Level 2 training course as one of the requirements.
