PCB received Payment of $6.5 Million from ICC
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) received the first payment of $6.5 million from the International Cricket Council (ICC) in Lahore. According to the sources, PCB was set to receive a total sum of $11.5 million; of which $6.5 million has been presented to the PCB account.
The first payment would have been received in January; however, approval of the 2017 and 2018 audit accounts caused a delay to it. Previously, the board had sent a report to the ICC after the approval of the members of the PCB Board of Governors in Lahore, after which the first payment was made successfully.
ICC shares annual earnings income with each member country; there is hope that the cricket board will soon release the second payment to PCB.
