PCB issues warning to registered cricketers

PCB issues warning to the cricketers as the new Constitution of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which took effect from August 19, replaces the former Regional Cricket Associations (RcEs) and District/Zone Cricket Associations (DCAs) with cricket associations and City Cricket Associations, respectively.

Therefore, any subsequent tournament organized by the RCA or DCA/Deceased Zones or any of its former office owners fall strictly under the realm of “disapproved cricket”.

Requests to organize private tournaments can be made under “PCB Rules for Private Cricket Events” available on the official PCB website.

All registered cricketers are advised to refrain from participating in such tournaments, which are not recognized or approved by the PCB.

Appropriate actions can be initiated against registered cricketers who continue to participate in disapproved cricket.
