Pakistani young rising star Imam-ul-Haq has been involved in scandal after screenshots of his alleged conversation with several women went viral on the Internet.
It all started when an anonymous user posted screenshots of inappropriate messages sent by the cricketer. Accusing him of having cheated on several women. Imam ul Haq since then has faced harsh criticism for engaging in inappropriate behavior.
Speaking about Geo Pakistan, top sports reporter Abdul Majid Bhatti also criticized the cricketer. Abdul Majid Bhatti says that the situation was alarming as Imam-ul-Haq was supposed to be a role model for young cricketers. He lamented that Imam-ul-Haq became involved in the scandal despite being an educated cricketer.
Bhatti cited an example from India and said the BCCI had recently banned two cricketers. Those cricketers are banned for passing inappropriate comments on women. He said cricket authorities should also take note of the scandal. Adding to this, Imam ul Haq should act responsibly as he represented Pakistan, says Abdul Majid.
