Abdul Razzaq Thinks Pakistan Will Soon Be Ranked At Top Position in All Formats

Former Pakistan cricketer and all-rounder Abdul Razzaq thinks the Pakistan cricket team will soon be ranked at the top position first or second in all three formats. The recent performance of the current team is showing him this hope. After a great series against South Africa, Pakistan is playing dominating against Zimbabwe.

Pakistan is having a great time in all three formats of cricket this year. In the latest South Africa series, Pakistan won the series against the Proteas at home. After that Pakistan also won the T20 series against Zimbabwe. Pakistan is also leading 1-0 in the ongoing Test series.

Razzak feels that the current Pakistan team is reorganizing with young players. “I am very happy that our bowling, batting, and fielding are improving every day,” he said. I think there is no alternative to batting-bowling or fielding if you want to be in a good position in all three formats.

Citing the example of Australia 20 years ago, he said, you have to be like Australia. The way that team was in Daputa 20 years ago, I think Pakistan will soon come to the top in all formats, keeping up with its current performance.

It is to be noted that Pakistan is in the 5th position in the new Test rankings announced by the ICC, 6th position in the ODI format, and 4th position in the T20 format.
