Pakistan Whitewash Zimbabwe in the Test Series
Earlier it was speculated that Pakistan is going to win the second Test by a big margin after the first Test. Pakistan whitewash Zimbabwe and won the test series by 2-0. The only thing waiting was when this match would end. With just one more wicket on the fourth day of the match, Pakistan is sure to win. Shahin Afridi has done his job well in the morning session.
In the second and last Test of the series against Zimbabwe, Pakistan won by an innings and 146 runs. Babar Azam’s team whitewashed the hosts 2-0. In the first innings, Abid Ali’s 216, Azhar Ali’s 126, and Nauman Ali’s 96 helped Pakistan declare the innings at 580 for seven.
In that innings, Zimbabwe was bowled out for 132 in the first innings with Hasan Ali taking five wickets. The team led by Brendon Taylor was bowled out for 231 in the second innings. For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi and Nauman Ali both took five wickets each and collapsed in Zimbabwe’s batting line-up.
Man of the Match Award
The best of the match was Abid Ali who played an unbeaten inning of 217 runs. Besides, Hasan Ali has been selected as the best cricketer of the series by taking 14 wickets in four innings in two Tests.
