Match Preview

Pakistan has won the first match of the T20 series against Zimbabwe with a small margin. Pakistan batting first fails to put a big total on the board as once again the middle order of the Pakistani fails to give their team a good partnership. Wickets fell down too quickly.

Pakistan is on a winning streak, yet the team is not immune to criticism from cricket analysts. The series win against South Africa on their soil, the first T20 win of the series against Zimbabwe too, all together Pakistan is having a good time as a team.

Despite Pakistan’s win as a team, former captain and cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq is still worried about the current squad. He is worried that no batsman in the middle order of the team can play consistently well. Inzamam also suggested that the team overcome this problem before the T20 World Cup 2021.

The middle order of the team also failed against Zimbabwe after the ODI, T20 series against South Africa. And Inzamam thinks that after the first three batsmen of the team, everyone else is a tail end! He is of the opinion that this weakness is not visible due to the good batting of the top order.
