West Indies hammered Pakistan on Friday with seven wickets wins at Trent bridge to launch their World Cup 2019 in a style. Pakistan was eliminated for only 105, Oshane Thomas taking four wickets. Chris Gayle crushed a fast fifty to win the match in 13.4 overs. Jason holder took three wickets while Andre Russell’s took 2 wickets. Oshane Thomas finished with the figures of 4 for 27. Pakistan will face England next Monday in the same spot, while the Caribbean is facing Australia, the defending champion, on 6 June.
