Karachi to host Pakistan Super League HBL PSL 5 Opening Ceremony
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises agreed to play the fifth edition of the tournament entirely in Pakistan. Karachi is likely to host the opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League Season 5 PSL 2020.
The PSL 2020 play-offs and final will reportedly take place in Lahore while Karachi to host the opening ceremony on February 20.
According to reports at a meeting of PSL franchise owners with PCB President Ehsan Mani on Monday, the PCB reaffirmed its commitment to play the fifth edition of the tournament in the country.
Lahore, Karachi, Multan, and Rawalpindi chose as the four cities to host the entire tournament, which will cover more than 34 games.
According to the details, Lahore will host 13 games. Karachi nine and Rawalpindi and Multan will host nine and eight games respectively.
Pakistan has hosted several matches in Pakistan in recent years. It includes the final and some matches from the second, third and fourth editions of the Pakistan Super League.
