Pakistan Super League PSL 5 draft for players likely to be delayed

Pakistan Super League PSL 5 Draft for players expected to postponed since November of this year. Former Pakistani captain Rashid Latif believes the draft for the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is unlikely to be held in November this year.

The 50-year-old added that due to the unavailability of foreign cricketers and time constraints, the drafting process could delay this time.

The PSL5 Draft may delay due to less time and availability of foreign players.

The former captain also criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for not releasing the profits from PSL franchises in time.

PCB should release PSL4 profits to all six franchises. PCB profit margin is 200%, but franchises are not happy.

The PCB and six franchises disagree with finances, as franchises have decided not to deposit the bank guarantee citing the fact that the league, in its fifth year, is now stable to operate without such guarantees.
