Pakistan Cricket Board, PCB to announce new Pakistan Head Coach

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said the name of the new head coach of the national team would announce on Wednesday.

The cricket board said the official announcement of the head coach and the bowling coach would be held tomorrow, followed by a press conference.

The decision will make following the interview process conducted last week by the leading contenders through a five-member panel that sent his recommendations to Pakistan Cricket Board, PCB President Ehsan Mani.

According to current reports, former Pakistan team captain Misbah-ul-Haq is the favorite to fill the position recently vacated by Mickey Arthur.

In addition to Misbah, the contenders also include former starter Mohsin Khan and former Australian cricketer Dean Jones.

On the other hand, Waqar Younis is the leading candidate for the position of bowling coach, for which Yasir Arafat and Jalaluddin had also applied.
