New Zealand Tour of India 2022 Postponed
According to the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) future tour schedule, the Indian team was scheduled to tour New Zealand in March 2022. However, the New Zealand tour of India 2022 has been postponed, although no official announcement has been made yet.
New Zealand will travel to India to play a two-match Test and a three-match T20 series after this year’s T20 World Cup. After the tour of India, the Kiwi team will start the summer season at home by hosting the Bangladesh team.
India was scheduled to travel to New Zealand to play a three-match ODI series that was originally part of the ICC Super League. However, the Indian Cricket Board could not give any rest to the cricketers due to the continuous series.
It has been decided to cancel the series to rest the cricketers from the turmoil of the drawn series. However, no board has yet made an official announcement in this regard.
New Zealand media reported this information. If any team goes to New Zealand, it is mandatory to stay in quarantine for 14 days. He regulates compulsory isolation by the New Zealand government.
The Department of Quarantine and Isolation of the New Zealand Government has not allocated any quarantine center for them before the scheduled time of the India series. This is the main reason why the idea is not being organized. However, the series is expected to be held at any time at the end of the year.
