Sethi used Twitter to chat with the Prime Minister, considering that the two do not like each other. Imran Khan was not a fan of Najam Sethi’s appointment as president of the CCP during the previous government’s term and had spoken very clearly about the nepotism used to entrust him with the responsibilities of cricket’s governing body in Pakistan.

At the time, Imran Khan had also been the subject of much criticism over international cricketers who travelled to Pakistan to restore Pakistan’s image as a safe country for cricket. Sethi’s remark comes after Sri Lanka Cricket announced that a second-string team would be sent to Pakistan after 10 of their players decided not to travel to the country.
