Multan vs Quetta Match 8 Result PSL 2019

Toss: Quetta Gladiators won the toss and choose to field in the 8th match of HBL PSL 2019.

Match Summary:

After Losing the toss, Multan Sultans started their innings but struggle to provide a good start to their team. Vince smashed three boundaries in the fourth over but was leg before wicket right after that. Where the opener Shan Masood failed to give a good opening stand. The skipper of Multan Sultan’s Shoaib Malik took the responsibilities adding the crucial 73 runs for the fourth wicket stand. Shoaib Malik scored a 2nd half-century of the tournament and led the Multan Sultan over the track but in the depth over. Multan Sultan again struggled a lot. Afridi was gone for duck. Whereas Russell added 18 runs in 12 balls and took his team to the target of 161 runs. Irfan Junior and Ghulam Mudassar pick two wickets each to restrict Multan Sultan to 160 runs on the loss of 9 wickets.

Chasing down the target of 161, the opening stand of 39 runs came to an end with the dismissal of Ahsan Ali. Shane Watson and Rossouw then took the responsibility and played a good knock to snatch the victory from Multan Sultans. Watson also scored a match-winning half-century but was caught out at the point. Rossouw also scored a half-century in just 35-ball. The man in form smashed 17 runs and added 66 runs for the third wicket partnership. Umar Akmal and Rossouw led Quetta Gladiators with consecutive wins and so far, it is unbeaten in this tournament.
