MS Dhoni Retires From International Cricket

Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh MS Dhoni has announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect. Just before the start of IPL 2020, MS Dhoni retires from International Cricket

Speaking to Instagram, Dhoni thanked his fans for his immense support throughout his career and asked them to consider him “retired” from now on.

“Thank you very much for your love and support throughout. From 7:29 pm, consider me as retired ”, he captioned a video summarizing his career in pictures.

It should be noted here that Dhoni did not mention which formats he is withdrawing from and that remains uncertain for now.

Dhoni has represented India in all three formats of the game and captained his team for the T20 World Cup victory in 2007, the World Cup victory in 2011 and the Champions Trophy triumph in 2013. He completed 90 tests, 350 ODI, and 98 T20I for India from his ODI. debut in 2004.
