Mickey Arthur Speaks Against Misbah-ul-Haq and Wasim Akram

The former head coach of the Pakistan cricket team, Mickey Arthur speaks against Misbah and Wasim as he claims that he was stabbed by the cricket committee of Pakistan (PCB), which included Misbah-ul-Haq and Wasim Akram. Expressing his disappointment at the end of his term, Arthur said he trusted those who had not acted on his request.

The only thing that disappointed me was that there were people I trusted who ultimately didn’t follow. I am not talking about the hierarchy, and I am talking about the members of the cricket committee that I believe, who have said one thing and finally made another. So that was the disappointing aspect. Despite the differences, Arthur added that he thought Misbah would do well as Pakistan’s coach and had a lot of potentials.

They were guys that I endorsed and that I enjoyed. As I said, they had a job to do, and they decided it was in the interest of Pakistani cricket to leave with a fresh look. And it turns out that Misbah was part of the committee that did not renew our contracts and who becomes this apparent heir. In the end, Misbah will do a good job, Misbah is a good guy, and Pakistani cricket has made up its mind. I was disappointed because I loved every second of this job.
