LHC Seeks Reply from PCB on Misbah Appointment
The High Court of Lahore (LHC) on Friday Seeks a reply from the Pakistan Cricket Board PCB to a petition challenging the appointment of former captain Misbah Ul Haq as head coach and Chief Selector of the cricket team Pakistan.
The court, composed of Judge Muhammad Ameer Bhatti, passed the orders on hearing a motion filed by Zahid Ali Bukhari. During the hearing, the LHC noted that the former captain was a star, adding that there was doubt about his abilities?
In this regard, the applicant stated that he had no doubts about the former captain’s abilities. However, the appointment was made against the rules and merit, he added.
After recording the initial arguments, the court issued notices to the PAC and sought an answer.
On September 4, the PAC appointed Misbah Ul Haq Chief Selector and head coach of Pakistan’s national cricket team for three years. A five-member criminal unanimously chose Misbah ul Haq as a head selector and head coach.
