Lahore vs Multan Match 29 Result PSL 2019
Toss: Multan Sultans won the toss and opted to field first in the 29th match of HBL PSL 2019.
Qalandars after losing the toss come to bat and again the opening pair failed to perform. As their opener Rikki Wessels becomes a victim of Chris Green. Not only the openers, but the middle order also collapse and kept on losing the wickets regularly. Only the skipper stood this time to show some resistance. Fakhar scores 53 of 36 balls with the help of eight fours and one six. Afridi caught Fakhar Zaman in the 12th over by a wonderful googly. David Wise was the second man from Lahore Qalandars to score a bit runs. Wise score 30 of 22-balls and manage to get a total of 140 runs only.
Chasing down only 140 is not a big deal for Multan Sultans. Even after getting an early wicket of Umar Siddiq, Lahore can’t properly provide a great contest. James Vince and Shan Masood struck 50-run partnership, Masood fell short of his half-century and caught at mid-on but scored 48 off 25 balls.
The game slipped from Lahore Qalandars in an early chase as Multan needs only 18 runs with 7 wickets in hand. Johnson Charles added 41 runs in just 25-ball and finishes the game, although both teams are not the part of playoffs.
