Kraigg Brathwaite reported for suspect bowling action
West Indies batsman Kraigg Brathwaite denounced and reported for an alleged illegal (suspect) bowling action during the second Test against India in Kingston that ended last Monday.
According to a press release issued by International Cricket Council, the party officials’ report, which handed over to West Indies management, reference concerns about the legality of the 26-year-old, Kraigg Braithwaite bowling action during the course of the match.
A specialist starter, Brathwaite, played out of the part-time spin-off and had previously been denounced for a suspicious bowling action in August 2017 against England in Birmingham, but was released after an independent evaluation.
With Brathwaite informed again, he will be required to undergo further testing by September 14.
However, he is allowed to continue bowling in international cricket until the results of the tests are known.
